FOBs - Who are we and what do we do?
The Friends of Blackwater Primary School (FOBS) are a very small, committed and hard working group of parents, carers and family members who work alongside the school staff/children to enrich the environment, provision and whole school community. We organise trips, drive the school Summer and Christmas fair's, run cake stalls and refreshments at events like Sports Day.
We rely totally on volunteers, people like you, to help make all of this happen. Some like to come along to meetings, others like to stay in touch and contribute via email. Some can give an hour of their time for a food collection or at a Fair to help man a stall, others like to donate items for the raffle or may work somewhere who can either donate a gift or match fund.
We have our FOBS Facebook page which is regularly updated, please like the page and get involved! We are always open to fresh ideas and would welcome your input. Please be assured of a warm welcome to any of our meetings.
