We learn in our classroom, outside and in the hall. We have a special area outside as we love being outdoors and have our own waterproofs so we can go outside in any weather. One of our favourite activities is ‘wild time’ in the Wild Area.
Wheal Harmony is home to the children in Years 1 and 2. The class is run by class teacher Mrs Fiona Shuttleworth and supported by teaching assistants Mrs Lisa Russell, Mrs. James, Mrs Patel and Mrs. Williams.
In Harmony we want learning to be fun. We learn through making, playing, drawing, writing, acting, investigating and lots and lots of talking. We all work hard to be the best that we can be. Trying our best is everything. If we are struggling we say we can’t do it YET but we keep on trying. We don’t worry about making mistakes because we know that means we are learning something new. It is just as well as Ms Shuttleworth often gets things wrong if she hasn’t eaten her Weetabix!
